7 .5 Adjustment lock

NOTE
The adjustment lock only blocks the fine adjustment.
The quick adjustment is possible even when the adjustment lock is activated.
The adjustment lock prevents unintentional adjustment of the tension force.
f Using a screwdriver, unscrew the screw
so, the fine adjustment ring must be held tight to prevent it from turning.
f Screw the screw (Figure

7 .6 Installing the adjustment lock cap

The adjustment lock cap ensures that the set tension force cannot be changed.
f Remove the screw

f Put on the adjustment lock cap
; The adjustment lock cap is installed.

8 Maintenance

The application tool is largely maintenance-free.

9 Repairs

NOTE
The application tool can be damaged when opening the housing, making changes to the components or if
repairs are carried out incorrectly.
f Application tool only to be repaired by authorised personnel.
Repair work must only be carried out by the manufacturer or persons authorised by the
manufacturer. This also includes opening the application tool and changing components or
functions.

9 .1 Replacing the blade

The blade should always be changed when the cable tie can no longer be cut-off neatly or easily.
CAUTION
The blade is sharp and could cause injury.
