WINDING/UNWINDING (NO LOAD)
1.
Place the ratchet switch in the center position.
a. The drum can move freely in both directions.
2.
Grasp the hook and pull the cable until the hook can be attached to the
load.
3.
Rewind any excessive cable by turning the crank clockwise.
WINDING UNDER LOAD (TOWING OR LOADING)
1.
Hold the crank firmly, then push gently to relieve tension on the
ratchet switch.
2.
Place the ratchet switch in the upper position.
3.
Turn the crank clockwise to wind up the cable.
a. Make sure to wind the cable evenly on to the drum.
UNWINDING UNDER LOAD (LOWERING, UNLOADING)
1.
Hold the crank firmly, then push gently to relieve tension on the
ratchet switch.
2.
Place the ratchet switch in the lower position.
3.
Turn the crank counterclockwise to unwind the cable.
4.
The cable should be fully retracted again after use.
CARE & MAINTENANCE
1.
Maintain the tool with care. A tool in good condition is efficient, easier
to control and will have fewer problems.
2.
Inspect the tool components periodically. Repair or replace damaged or
worn components.
3.
Follow instructions for lubricating and changing accessories.
4.
Keep the tool handles clean, dry and free from oil/grease at all times.

intended for use with this tool. Replace damaged parts immediately.
