and in its original packaging with a completed complaint form.
Replacing the sensor:
IMPORTANT
Whenever you are working on the sensor ensure that the seal-
ing surfaces of the O-rings are free from dirt and scratches
(especially the outer surface at the top end of the immersion
sensor below the O-ring (12a))!
Disconnect the in-line sensor from the DULCOMETER
put in a clean place.
Detach the threaded cable connector
Insert two screwdrivers in two opposite holes in the protective
mesh (16) and lever away from the sensor (17a)
Unscrew the sensor (17a) from the in-line probe housing and
remove
Unscrew the two screws (12b) on the side of the cap (12) and
remove the cap
Remove the spare sensor (type ICT 1-IM) from the packaging
Feed the sensor cable from the bottom through the in-line probe
housing
Screw the sensor onto the in-line probe housing until the conn-
ection is watertight
Check the position and the condition of the O-ring (12a) in the
cap (12)
Pull the sensor cable from the inside through the cable connector
in the cap until the cap is sitting on the end of the in-line probe
housing. Make sure that the O-ring (12a) is compressed
Re-attach the cap using the two screws (12b)
Tighten the nut of the threaded cable connector until watertight
Place the protective mesh (16) onto the sensor and snap in place
Reassemble the immersion sensor (see "Assembly")
