3.2- Additional safety rules for battery operated pump
•
Never run an overheated pump. If your pump is overheat, turn off immediately and allow
cooling down.
•
Change all batteries at the same time. Do not mix old and new batteries. Do not mix alkaline,
standard (carbon-zinc), or rechargeable (nickelcadmium) batteries. Position batteries in
properpolarity. Do not use swollen or leaking batteries.
•
Do not use if parts are loosen or damaged.
•
Do not operate when tired or when under the influence of drugs or medication.
•
Maintain labels and rating plate through the life of service.
3.3- Special warnings when using the product
•
Do not use for transferring corrosive liquids, hot liquids, thinners, acetone, benzene, phenol.
•
Do not use for transferring drinking water.
•
Do not use for transferring used, aged, deteriorated and/or dirty oils.
•
Do not use new near open flame or heat sources.
•
The position of the receiving container should be lower than the Battery Housing (3).
•
Alert to possible explosion hazard when transferring gasoline or flammable liquids. Avoid
sparks and use under well ventilated condition.
•
Always wear safety goggles and suitable chemical resistant gloves.
•
Keep the pump upright after use.
•
Do not run the pump dry.
•
Make sure the Suction Tube (6) is fully submerged in liquid before turning on.
IV. GETTING STARTED
4.1- Unpacking
•
Remove the product from packaging
•
Check if the product and accessories (if any) are intact.
4.2- Assembly
Battery installation and replacement
•
Remove the Battery Cap (2) by turning it counterclockwise.
•
Insert two pieces of type D (LR20) batteries (not included) into the Battery Housing (3).
Make sure the batteries are installed in proper polarity. Do not install batteries of different
types, charge levels, or capacities together.
•
Replace the Battery Cap (2) and tighten securely.
4.3- Switch On/Off
•
The Power Switch (1) is on top of the Battery Cap (2).
