Gas Pressure Setting Verification
11. If the pressure is within the limits given in step 10, the gas pressure is at the
optimum level. Reconnect the plastic hose between the GAS VALVE VENT
TOP and the BLOWER MIXER INLET.
12. Remove the 1/8" NPT barbed fitting from the PRESSURE TAP port on the
outlet side of the gas valve and reinstall the plug. Be sure it is tightened
properly. Turn OFF the heater and manual gas supply valve.
13. Run the heater continuously for at least 10 minutes, then insert a
combustion analyzer probe into the exhaust and measure the CO2 level. The
recommended CO2 ranges for natural gas and propane are listed in Table 2,
on page 8. Preferably, the readings should be in the midrange.
14. Replace the water manifold service panel. See Figure 1 on page 7.
