• Position the power cable clear of the spinning tool attachment.
• Keep hands and your body parts away from any moving parts.
• Never reach behind or beneath the grinding wheels.
• Disconnect the tool from the power source before making any adjustments and changing
accessories.
• Only use grinding wheels whose diameter, thickness and intended use meet the specification
of the bench grinder (Table 1 refers).
• Do not use damaged accessories. Before starting the tool, inspect the accessories such as
abrasive wheels for chips and cracks.
• Clean the power tool's air vents regularly.
• Periodically check that all nuts, bolts and other fixings are properly tightened.
• Always allow a new wheel to run for a few minutes at full speed before using it. Stand to
one side at start up.
• If possible, always use clamps or a vice to hold your workpieces.
• Use on materials containing asbestos is prohibited.
• Don't use sharpening or grinding wheels for cutting purposes.
IV. GETTING STARTED
4.1- Unpacking
• Remove the product from packaging.
• Check if the product and accessories (if any) are intact.
4.2- Assembly
WARNING!
Before starting assembly or changing accessories, turn it off and disconnect from
main power source.
Installing spark protector
• Align the spark protector (7) as illustrated in Fig. 2.
• Fix the bracket onto the grinding wheel guard (6) with the screws and nuts provided.
• The gap between the grinding wheel (8) and the spark protector bracket should not larger
than 2mm.
• Adjust the distance through the slots on the bracket.
