Installing workpiece holder
• Align the workpiece holder (9) as illustrated in Fig. 3.
• Fix it onto the grinding wheel guard (6) with the screws and knobs provided.
• The gap between the grinding wheel (8) and the workpiece holder should not larger than
2mm.
• Adjust the distance through the slot on the workpiece holder.
Mounting the bench grinder
• Do not use the product until it has been securely installed on a firm and solid work bench.
• Securely bolt the bench grinder to work bench thorugh the 4 mounting holes in the base.
Fixings are not provided.
• Make sure the main power source is within 150 cm from the machine.
• The bench grinder must be easily accessible from front side.
Installing and removing the dry grinding wheel
• Remove the grinding wheel guard (6) by loosening the screws ⓒ and nuts ⓓ. See Fig. 4.
• Remove the locking nut ⓑ from the spindle using spanner (not provided).
• Remove the outer flange ⓐ from the spindle.
• Fit a new grinding wheel (8) onto the spindle. Inspect the new grinding wheel for any
demages, flaws or cracks.
• Restore the flange and locking nut then tighten. Do not overtighten to avoid damage to the
grinding wheel.
• Rotate the grinding wheel by hand to make sure it moves freely and doesn't in contact with
any foreign objects.
• Re-assemble the grinding wheel guard.
Removing and installing the wet grinding wheel (for model PRTMEMIX400 only)
• Drain the water from the water container (2) by removing the drain bung ⓔ. See Fig. 5a.
• Remove the water container from the machine by loosening the screws ⓕ. See Fig. 5b.
• Remove the locking nut ⓖ from the spindle using spanner (not provided).
• Remove the outer flange ⓗ from the spindle, then remove the wet grinding wheel (1). See
Fig. 5c.
• Fit a new wet grinding wheel onto the spindle. Inspect the new grinding wheel for any
