INSTALLATION

Flue pipes are to be installed by qualified personnel. Always use Personal Protective

Ensure that the installation is UNI 10683 and UNI/TS 11278 compliant.

Please remember not to leave parts of the packaging which may be dangerous within
a
the reach of children (plastic, polystyrene bags, etc.) and dispose of them according to
legislations currently in force.
Before proceeding with the installation of any component, ensure that the flue pipe is suitable for the
installation to be carried out.
At this point, proceed as follows:
- Make sure that the joints are integral and clean: components with damaged joints (for example,
crushed and/or deformed) cannot be used.
- If connected, disconnect the appliance from the electrical power supply (refer to the appliance
instruction manual).
- Install the elements necessary in order to reach the flue pipe/chimney coupling distance. If it needs
to be moved sideways, carry out this operation following the indications provided in the paragraph
"CE MARKING INFORMATION" under the heading «Non-vertical installations».
- If the flue pipe installation is to be carried out near flammable material, respect the minimum
safety distances specified in the product characteristics (see the chapter "MINIMUM SAFETY
DISTANCES").
- Once installation operations have been completed together with the relative checks and
verifications, the installer must ensure that the plate supplied is secured in a clearly visible position
near the flue pipe.
With reference to what has been carried out and on the basis of the indications provided by the
manufacturer in the instructions, the installer must write the following information, in a permanent
form, on the plate:
(1) nominal diameter and name according to
the EN standard (mark the corresponding
row)
(2) distance from combustible materials in
millimetres
(3) details of the installer
(4) installation date.
