ENGINE SOFTWARE UPDATE
When this kit is installed on a 2008 or 2009
model outboard, engine management software

must be updated to add electronic shift and
throttle functions to the EMM. 2010 or newer
outboards do not need to be updated, electronic
shift and throttle software is factory installed.
