• Disconnect the shift link, rotate the propeller
shaft and manually shift the outboard into
FORWARD gear using the shift lever.
1. Shift lever in FORWARD
IMPORTANT: Make sure the gear is fully en-
gaged and the lever is all the way forward.
• Using Evinrude Diagnostics, open the Set-
tings screen and select the EST Calibration
tab. Click the Forward button under Shift Cali-
bration. The actuator arm will move to FOR-
WARD.
• Use the Nudge buttons to move the actuator
arm forward or backward until the holes in the
shift link align with the actuator arm pin and
shift lever pin.
• When the holes of the link and pins are
aligned, install the link. Click the Save button.
The actuator automatically moves the shift
lever to the NEUTRAL position.

To align the shift actuator REVERSE gear
stroke:

• Remove shift link from shift lever, but keep it
installed on the actuator arm.
• Rotate the propeller shaft and manually shift
the outboard into REVERSE gear with the
shift lever.

• Using Evinrude Diagnostics, open the Set-
tings screen and select the EST Calibration
tab. Click the Reverse button under Shift Cali-
bration. The actuator arm will move to
REVERSE.
• Use the Nudge buttons to move the actuator
arm forward or backward until the shift link
aligns with the actuator arm and shift lever
