Application/function
Can be used in conjunction with:
• Pressurised storage heaters
• Thermally-controlled instantaneous heaters
• Hydraulically-controlled instantaneous heaters
Operation with unpressurised storage heaters (open water
heaters) is not possible.
The Powerbox transforms the energy, that is generated
through the water flow, into electrical energy and stores this.
From 6 water flows with a duration of 10 s daily, the fitting can
be operated energy self-sufficient.
Safety notes
• Installation is only possible in frost-free rooms.
• The generator must not be cleaned with compressed air.
• Use only genuine replacement parts and accessories. The
use of other parts will result in voiding of the warranty and
the CE identification.

Installation
Flush pipes thoroughly before and after installation
(observe EN 806).
Fitting
Refer to the dimensional drawing on fold-out page I.
1. Fasten fitting to wash basin, see Fig. [1] and [2].
2. Remove cover from Powerbox, see Fig. [3].
3. Fasten Powerbox to wall, siehe Abb. [4].
4. Connect hoses and connect plug-in connectors, see Fig. [5]
to [7].
The fitting is in setting mode for 3 minutes.
Open hot and cold water supply and check connections
for watertightness.
Setting temperature limiter
1. Remove screw, see Fig. [8].
2. Turn mixer lever until the desired maximum temperature is
reached.
3. Detach mixer lever, see Fig. [9].
4. Detach stop ring and reattach with notch pointing vertically
upwards.
5. Turn mixer spindle to the stop, see Fig. [10].
6. Assemble mixer lever in horizontal position.
Initial start
After making plug-in connection fitting is in setting mode for
3 minutes. After the 3 minutes the fitting is ready for operation
and the continuous operation can be performed.
Performing continuous operation to load the storage.
1. Hold finger against the lower area of the sensor system,
see Fig. [11].
Indicator lamp in the sensor system signals:

2. Remove finger from the sensor system while
is displayed.
The fitting starts the continuous operation.
While the continuous operation the indicator lamp in the
storage electronics must light, see Fig. [12]. Otherwise see
table Fault/Cause/Remedy page 8.
During the continuous operation the sensor system must not
detect an object. Otherwise the water stops flowing
immediately and the fitting is closed (indicator lamp in the
sensor system starts to flash).
Closure of the fitting ends automatically after 3 minutes or
can be prematurely terminated (see Terminating cleaning
mode). The continuous operation must be performed again.
