Programme table
The infrared electronics provide seven preset programmes for selection.

Cleaning mode can be activated when temporary shutoff is activated. In cleaning mode, water flow is not started for

3 minutes even if an object is detected.

Automatic flushing serves to ensure water hygiene in the event of long-term non-utilisation of the fitting. Flushing is initiated
*
for a duration of 5 minutes after 24 hours (usage-independent) or for a duration of 1 or 5 or 10 minutes after 72 hours
(usage-dependent) after the fitting was last used.
Safety note:
Ensure free draining in the case of activated automatic flushing.
Maintenance
Shut off hot and cold water supply.
Fitting
I. Remove and clean mousseur (48 159), see fold-out page I.
Assemble in reverse order.
II. Mixer spindle
1. Disconnect fitting from connections.
2. Remove fitting from wash basin.
3. Remove mixer spindle and replace, see Fig. [15].
Assemble in reverse order.
Observe correct position of components, see detail,
Fig. [15].
Powerbox
Remove cover from Powerbox, see fold-out page II, Fig. [13].
I. Solenoid valve
1. Disconnect plug-in connectors, see Fig. [16].
2. Remove generator housing, see, Fig. [17].
3. Replace solenoid valve or clean filter, see Fig. [18].
Assemble in reverse order.
II. Generator and battery housing
The generator must not be cleaned with compressed air.
1. Disconnect plug-in connectors, see Fig. [16].
2. Remove generator housing, see Fig. [17].
3. Remove generator and replace, see Fig. [19].
4. Remove battery housing and replace, see Fig. [20].
5. Connect plug-in connectors and assemble in reverse order.
6. Start water flow
The indicator lamp in the storage electronics must light while
the water flow, see fold-out page II, Fig. [12]. Otherwise see
table Fault/Cause/Remedy.
7. Install cover to Powerbox, see Fig. [13].

III. Storage electronic and battery housing
1. Disconnect plug-in connectors, see Fig. [16].
2. Remove storage electronic and battery housing and replace,
see Fig. [21].
3. Connect plug-in connectors and assemble in reverse order.
4. Wait 1 hour.
5. Perform continuous operation to load the storage, see
chapter Initial start.
6. Install cover to Powerbox, see Fig. [12].
IV. Battery housing
The battery housing must be replaced 10 years after
commissioning of the fitting at the latest.
1. Disconnect plug-in connectors, see Fig. [16].
2. Remove battery housing and replace, see Fig. [20].
3. Connect plug-in connectors and assemble in reverse order.
4. Start water flow
The indicator lamp in the storage electronics must light while
the water flow, see fold-out page II, Fig. [12]. Otherwise see
table Fault/Cause/Remedy.
5. Install cover to Powerbox, see Fig. [12].

Disposal instructions
This category of device does not belong in the
domestic waste, but must be disposed of
separately in accordance with the relevant local
national regulations.
Dispose of batteries in accordance with national
regulations.
