A float switch (2) installed in the calibration-fluid tank
ensures a minimum oil level.
While the drive is switched off, the heater, according to
the temperature controller (MGT or KMA, see relevant
operating manual), heats up the calibration fluid in the
tank (4) to the preselected temperature and maintains
this temperature. The installed temperature sensor (3)
continually monitors the temperature.
When the drive is switched on, the calibration-fluid de-
livery pump (5) starts and the calibration-fluid circuit is
sealed by the mounted pump. The temperature control
positions can be identified on the MGT / KMA (see rel-
evant operating manual).

Voltage supply for start/stop magnets

1
24V
12V
Start/stop solenoids of components or trigger units of
supplementary equipment sets (e. g. CRS 846) can be
supplied with 12 V or 24 V by way of the terminals (1)
in the top part of the switch cabinet.
!
Never connect two or more items of electrical equip-
ment (e.g. CRS 845 trigger unit, solenoid valve) to
the 12/24 V supply terminals of the EPS, as this
could damage the electrical equipment!
Never disconnect or connect electrical equipment
with the EPS switched on.

The electrically driven lubricating-oil delivery pump (7)
is mounted on the base pan of the test-bench housing.
The pump is switched on with the switch on the control
unit (1). When the pump is switched on, the indicator
lamp in the switch lights up.
The oil reservoir (6) with integrated filter is situated on
the left side panel.
The lubricating-oil supply (4) and return (3) are located

under the drive coupling.
The pressure control valve (5) is attached on the left above
the flywheel. The set pressure is displayed on the pressure
gauge (2) located above the pressure control valve.
!
Do not switch on the pump until the lubricating-oil
tank has been filled.

The lubricating-oil supply line is sealed with a filler
plug. Remove the filler plug before connecting a line
