Fitting instructions
1)
Remove the spare wheel at the bottom and loosen the exhaust out of the hanging rubbers. Disassemble
the bumper and the exhaust with the heat shield.
2)
Place the mounting pieces (-f) and (-g) with the points (B) on the provided drillings in the chassis beam in
the rear (on a level with the spring action) and insert the bolt and the washer but do not tighten.
3)
Remove the plastic caps on the outside and inside of the chassis beam (on a level with the rear axle) and
insert the mounting tubes (-j) and (-k) in these drillings. Place afterwards the mounting pieces (-h) and
(-i) with the points (A) and (C) on the just inserted tubes (filling tube on the mounting pieces comes over
the inserted tubes), insert here also the bolts and place the washers against the outside of the chassis
beam. Insert also by (E) the the necessary bolts, washers and nuts but do not tighten.
4)
Place now the towbar between the mounting pieces so that points (D) and (D') of the towbar match those
of the mounting pieces. Insert the necessary bolts, washers and nuts and tighten everything firmly as on
tension.
5)
Make an incision at the bottom of the bumper as on sketch enclosed and replace the bumper on the
vehicle. Notice that the tube of the towbar shoves partly in the bumper.
It is possible that you have to loosen the bolts of (D), (D') and (E) a little so that the bumper comes on its
place.
6)
Assemble (*) together with filling piece (-l), the socket holder (-p) and the security shackle (-s). Place the
washers ø24x13x2,5 on the tube.
Tighten also firmly as on tension.

Note
Please consult your cardealer or owners manual for the maximal permissable towing mass.
Remove any bitumen coating on the fastening position for the tow bar.
When drilling, be carefull not to damage any brake lines, electrical wiring or fuel lines.
