1. Operating instructions
1.1 Unit description
The SHW 200 - 400 S floor-standing water
heater can provide hot water to suit
requirements up to about 82 °C and supply
one or more draw-off points. The water is
heated electrically.
• Stepless temperature adjustment possible
from about 35 °C to about 82 °C
If required, the hot water temperature
limitation set at the works (60 °C) can be
altered by the qualified installer at the
G
electrical heating element
• The water content is heated to the preset
temperature in accordance with the
operating mode.
Single-circuit operation:
Automatic reheating takes place as a
function of the electricity supply.
Dual-circuit operation:
In this operating mode the appliances
provide basic heating, which automatically
heats up the water content during off-peak
periods.
Rapid heating can be switched on if
required by pressing the button (3). Once
the preset temperature has been reached,
the rapid heating mode will be switched
off, and not switched on again.
• The time required for heating up depends
on the cylinder content, the temperature
of the cold water, and the heating capacity.

time at a setting of 60 °C (E) and a cold
water temperature of 10 °C.

temperature).
The temperatures may deviate from the
reference values given due to the
particular features of the individual

1.3 Safety instruction
• A hot water temperature of more
than 60 °C may occur at the draw-
off fitting.
• If it is intended that children or persons
with restricted physical, sensory, or
mental capacity should operate the

with the device.
Risk of scalding!
1.4 Important instruction
• Arrange for the floor-standing water heater
and the safety group to be checked
regularly by a qualified installer.
• The appliances are under water mains
pressure. During heating, expansion water
will drip out of the safety valve. If water
continues to drip after the heating phase
has ended, please inform your qualified
installer.
• The steel cylinder is fitted on the inside
with a special enamel coating to protect it
against corrosion, and also has a protective
anode with a wear display (signal anode).
Once the signal anode has worn away,
moisture will pass to the display element
(4) and cause it to change colour.
If the display element (4) turns red,
please inform your qualified installer
so that he can check the signal anode and
replace it if necessary.
