CAUTION
Long hours of using the appliance can
cause circulation problems in the hands on
account of vibrations.
It is not possible to specify a generally valid
operation time, since this depends on sev-
eral factors:
– Proneness to blood circulation deficien-
cies (cold, numb fingers).
– Low ambient temperature. Wear warm
gloves to protect hands.
– A firm grip impedes blood circulation.
– Continuous operation is worse than an
operation interrupted by pauses.
In case of regular, long-term operation of
the device and in case of repeated occur-
rence of the symptoms (e.g. cold, numb fin-
gers) please consult a physician.
Turning on the Appliance
Open the water supply.
Start the motor with the trigger gun ac-
tuated according to the operating in-
structions of the motor manufacturer.
ATTENTION
Risk of damage. Do not pull the device for
manual start when the motor is running.
Note:
The spray lance can be removed to facili-
tate the start-up process.
Press the lever on the trigger gun as
long as necessary until the motor starts.
Note:
The optional attachment kit "Easy Start"
makes the start procedure easier and
makes it possible to start with the trigger
gun closed.

Interrupting operation
Release the lever on the trigger gun.
Note:
When the lever of the hand spray gun is re-
leased, the engine continues to run at zero
speed. The water thus circulates within the
pump and gets heated. When the cylinder
head at the pump has reached the maxi-
mum permissible tempertaure (80 °C), the
therm-valve opens. Hot water is drained.
Cold water will follow and cool the pump.
Turn off the appliance
After operating the water using saline water
(sea water), open the hand spray gun and
rinse the appliance for at least 2 - 3 minutes
using tap water.
Set the appliance switch at the engine
to OFF and close the fuel supply valve.
Shut off water supply.
Activate trigger gun until device is pres-
sure-less.
Secure the hand spray gun using the
safety catch so that it doesn't open ac-
cidentally.
Remove the water inlet hose from the
appliance.
Frost protection
ATTENTION
Frost will destroy the not completely water
drained device.
Store the appliance in a frost free area.
If you cannot store it in a frost-free place:
Drain water.
Pump in conventional frost protection
agents through the appliance.
Note:
Use normal glycol-based anti-freezing
agents for automobiles.
Observe handling instructions of the anti-
freeze agent manufacturer.
Operate device for max. 1 minute until
the pump and conduits are empty.
Push the push handle down and pull
our push the appliance using the push
handle.
When transporting in vehicles, secure
the appliance according to the guide-
lines from slipping and tipping over.
CAUTION
Risk of personal injury or damage! Mind the
weight of the appliance during transport.
