This would be the right time to paint the hull. When marking the waterline, follow the side view drawing. The
next step is to put on the fore deck with the bulkhead. Before this, the glazing of the portholes must be glued in
place. This should of course be done after painting so that the glass surfaces do not have to be masked off.
The waterline is 45 mm below the surrounding rubbing strake.

Build up the splashboard from parts 3.7 - 3.10 and glue it to the fore deck 3.6.
This unit can now be painted before gluing it to the hull. If the deck is to be covered with the checker plate
(accessory ro1093), the fore deck surface does not need to be painted, only the splashboard.

Before you glue on the foredeck, glue the portholes with the glazing strips 3.12 behind it.
