NOTICE:
The Stainless Steel Screws (Item #18)
that came with the Quick Release Bracket are not
used when installing the MKA-32 to an Ulterra.
Instead, the Clipped Washers (#2201725) and
Hex Head Bolts (#2203431) included in the
mounting hardware that came with the Ulterra
motor should be used.
NOTICE:
To prevent seizing of the stainless steel
hardware, do not use high speed installation tools.
Wetting the screws or applying an anti-seize may
help prevent seizing.
e. Install the Top Plate Assembly to the motor using
three Hex Head Bolts (#2203431) and three
Clippeed Washers (#2201725). Place one Clipped
Washer on each Hex Head Bolt. Partially thread the
Bolts with the Clipped Washer into the Top Plate.
Leave at least 1/4" of space between the bottom of
the Clipped Washers and the Top Plate; this allows
the Base Extrusion to slide in under the Clipped
Washer and into place.

f. Slide the Base Extrusion into place under the Bolts
that were just installed.
g. The Base Extrusion should slide between the Top
Plate and the Clipped Washers. Hold the Clipped
Washers up on the Stainless Steel Screw, so the
Clipped Washer will sit on top of the Base Extrusion.

CAUTION
Use extra care to avoid pinching and damaging the sensor wires
that run alongside of the Base Extrusion when installing and
tightening the motor mounting bolts.
