KIT TO CONTROL CAMBERING AND DEFORMATION OF MOVING TRAINS
CHECK ON THE SHOCK ABSORBER
• Place the kit as shown in fig. 13.
• Adjust the small graduated rods until the small pointing rod is
positioned at the part of the shock absorber sleeve as shown in
fig. 14.
• If the results of the two surveys differ significantly (1 mm or more),
the shock absorber, on the side where the camber anomaly was
found, is bent, and it is therefore necessary to replace both shock
absorbers.
• To obtain a more accurate mark, two measurements must be made
as described: on both the upper and lower sides of the shock absorber
sleeve (Fig. 15, Fig. 16).
For proper maintenance and operation of the tool, it is advisable to periodically clean the threads and
surfaces with a soft cloth.
