Special safety instructions
• Pay attention to the surroundings Remove fallen branches before
make a new cut. Keep the work area clean.
• Keep other people, especially children, and pets at a distance of at
least 15 metres from the work area.
• Wear a safety helmet, ear protection, safety glasses and safety
gloves.
• Wear a dust filter mask if the work produces a lot of dust.
• Do not wear loose-fitting clothes, jewellery, or watches etc. that
can fasten in moving parts. Wear long trousers.
• Never use the power tool from a ladder, tree or other unstable
location.
• Do not overreach. Always maintain a firm footing and good
balance. Always use the shoulder strap for optimal weight
distribution.
• Wear sturdy, non-slip shoes.
• Do not expose the power tool to rain or moisture.
• Do not work with the power tool closer than 10 metres from power
lines.
• Do not stand under the branch being cut, it will cause personal
injury when it falls. Be aware that the branches can bounce or roll
when they hit the ground. Do not work at an angle greater than
60°.
• The risk of kickback is great if the outer part of the guide bar is
used.
• Pay attention to the branch being cut and on the ground to avoid
tripping over previously cut branches.
• Fatigue will make it difficult to handle the power tool safely. Rest
for 30 minutes after 60 minutes of work.
• Always wear gloves when handling saw chains.
