The arrow on the tensioning nut (2)
must point to "0", otherwise:
:
Turn the tensioning nut approx.
1/4 turn anticlockwise as far as the
stop = "0" with the combination
wrench.

Fit the V-belt (3) on the V-belt
pulley (4).

Line up the threaded bores in the
bearing plate (5) with the slots in the
cast arm (6).

Fit the V-belt guard (7) on the
inboard side.
:
Screw in the hexagon bolts (8) as
far as the stop, but do not tighten
them yet.

This machine is equipped with an
automatic spring-loaded V-belt
tensioning device.
:
Before tensioning the V-belt, the
hexagon bolts (8) must be
unscrewed and the arrow on the
tensioning nut (2) must point to "0".
If not:
:
Unscrew the hexagon bolts and turn
the tensioning nut approx. 1/4 turn
anticlockwise as far as the stop = "0"
with the combination wrench.
