do so, have a qualified technician service the tool.
Problem(s)
Engine will not start.
Engine lacks power.

Possible cause(s)
Engine is cold.
Fuel cock in OFF position.
Engine switch is in OFF position
Engine oil is low.
Out of fuel.
Bad fuel, engine stored without
treating or draining gasoline, or
refueled with bad gasoline
Spark plug is faulty or
improperly gapped.
Engine is flooded
Spark plug fouled/Engine fails to
produce a spark.
Fuel filter restricted, carburator
malfunction, ignition malfunction,
valves stuck, etc.
Electric Starter
Filter element(s) restricted.
Bad fuel, engine stored without
treating or draining gasoline, or
refueled with bad gasoline.
Fuel filter restricted, carburator
malfunction, ignition malfunction,
valves stuck, etc.
Suggested solution(s)
Move choke to CLOSED position
until warm, then move to the
OPEN position.
Move to ON position.
Move to ON position
Fill with the recommended oil to the
proper level.
Refuel.
Drain fuel tank and carburator. Refuel with
fresh gasoline.
Gap or replace spark plug.
Move choke to OPEN/RUN position.
Remove and clean spark plug. Check
electrode spacing and set the gap to the
correct dimension. Replace spark plug
if damaged.
Ensure the spark lead is installed and wire
is connected.
Replace or repair faulty components as
needed. Contact Princess Auto Ltd or
take engine to an authorized service center
if necessary.
Check battery capacity and reset the
breaker switch.
Clean or replace filter element(s).
Drain fuel tank and carburator. Refuel with
fresh gasoline.
