1) Setting the Silent Lever
Pull the Silent Lever towards you until you
hear and feel the click as the mechanism
catches. This engages the Grand Silent sys-
tem, consisting of the hammer shank stop-
per and the Quick Escape mechanism. Now
when you play your Silent Series grand
piano, all you will hear is the quiet sound of
the piano action.
NOTE:
The Silent Series grand piano has the nor-
mal pedal arrangement of a grand piano —
sustain (right), sostenuto (center), and shift
(left). The functions of the pedals are the
same when you play the piano electronically
as when you play acoustically.

1) Einstellung des "Silent"-Hebels
Ziehen Sie den "Silent"-Hebel heraus, bis Sie
den Mechanismus einrasten hören und füh-

Flügels – Dämpferpedal (rechts), Sostenuto-
pedal (mitte) und Verschiebungspedal
(links). Die Funktionsweise der Pedale ist
immer gleich, unabhängig davon, ob Sie
elektronisch oder akustisch spielen.
