● For security reasons, the network used as the Dante network should be
a local network that is not connected to the internet.
● You will need a PC fitted with a Dante Controller in order to enable the
Dante connection.
● Use a LAN cable that is Cat 5e, Cat 6, Cat 7 or better to connect in the
Dante network.
● Dante network settings and audio routing settings are made using Dante
Controller. Refer to Audinate's website for more information about Dante
Controller.

● For the L2-SWITCH, use one that is capable of the following functions and
settings:
1 Gigabit packet transfer functionality
2 Diffserv (DSCP) QoS configuration functionality that has four strict priority
queues
3 Admin functionality for monitoring switch settings and statuses
4 Functionality to turn off power saving modes such as EEE (Energy
Efficient Ethernet), if equipped
Refer to the switch manual for switch configuration and operation.
● Start audio input and output only after the status of the system's clock has
sufficiently stabilized.
● The maximum length for the LAN cable (commercially available) is 100 m.
