3. MODE D'EMPLOI
3.1 Remplissage du r•cipient
 Mettez la soupape de pression en position "0"et ouvrez
l'autocuiseur en tirant sur la poign‰e au milieu du couvercle
(cf. fig. 1)
 Retirez le joint silicone du couvercle et faites-le bouillir
" l'eau avant le premier usage, sechez-le, graissez-le " l'huile
de table et remettez-le bien en place. ATTENTION! V‰rifiez que
le joint est bien remis en place sinon la pression ne peut pas
se faire dans le r‰cipient.
 Versez au moins 1€ tasse (375ml) d'eau ou de liquide sur les
aliments plac‰s dans l'autocuiseur. Remplissez-le, aliments
compris, au maximum jusqu'" "⅔" ligne visible " l'interieur du
recipient (cf. Fig. 2).
 Lors de l'utilisation d'aliments
l‰g¡rement (par example d•s petites pois, du riz, d•s haricots),
ne remplissez le recipient qu'" € de sa capacite (cf. fig.3). Pour
r‰duire la formation de mousse, ajoutez avant la cuisson une
cuiller‰e de beurre ou d'huile dans le recipient.
 Avant chaque utilisation et avant f‰rmer l'autocuisuer, verifiez
imp‰rativement que les soupapes se tournent bien. La goupille
rouge de la soupape doit pouvoir s'actioner facilement dans
les deux sens lorsque vous tournez le couvercle avec le
m‰canisme d'ouverture ferm‰. Si le fonctionnement n'est pas
comme pr‰vu, ne d‰butez pas la cuisson mais nettoyez
absolument la soupape "4. NETTOYAGE ET MANUTENTION)".
 Mettez maintenant la couvercle sur le r‰cipient et appuyez la
poign‰e de la couvercle vers le bas (cf. Fig.4). La fermeture du
r‰cipient est allors bien enclech‰e et vous pouvez commencer
la cuisson.

4.3 Safety valve disassembling
 Use the enclosed plastic tool or a coin to unscrew the safety
pin nut from the inside of the lid. Turn in counter-clockwise
(see illustration 11).
 Take the red pin off and use normal dishwashing liquid to
clean the valve. Rinse with clear water and thoroughly dry the
valve pin and the interior of the valve holder.
 Replace the interior parts of the safety valve in the correct
sequence. (Spring and thinner side of the red pin thru the
interior of the valve).
 Srew the nut back onto the valve holder, blue key tightening it
clockwise. Check to make sure that the red sealing is present
and properly fitted to the thread (see illustration 12).
 You should be able to move the red pin effortlessly to and fro
when you turn
mechanism locked. To check this, take hold of the lid and,
without placing it on the pressure cooker, operate the shutting
mechanism as if you wanted to lock the lid. Then turn the lid
from side to side by 180‹ and watch the red pin. The pin
should – depending on the position of the lid – either sink
smoothly into the valve or stick out from valve nut about 1cm.

4.4 Cleaning and storage

 After each use of the pressure cooker, remove the sealing ring
from its lid. Wash and rinse it thoroughly and grease it lightly
with cooking oil. Depending on how often you use the cooker,
the seal ring should be replaced every 6 months (in case of
daily use) with a new original sealing ring.
 The pot can be cleaned just like an ordinary pot. It can be
hand or in dishwasher machine, do not use metal brushes.
CAUTION: Do not clean lid and seal ring in the dishwasher.
 For storage, place the lid upside down on the pressure cooker
pot; this protects the sealing ring. Pressure cooker should only
be stored without food and completely dry (see ilustration13).
