MetrologIcal control

It is recommended to have a metrological check on the thermometer
carried out by an authorized laboratory at least every 2 years. This
ensures the correct function and measurement accuracy.
dIsposal
When disposing of the thermometer, batteries and packaging, the
applicable country-specific regulations must be observed.
• Dispose of the packaging of your thermometer according to local
regulations.
• Remove the battery before disposing of the thermometer.
• Do not throw used batteries in the household waste, but dispose
of them as hazardous waste or at a battery collection point in
specialist shops.
• Dispose of the thermometer in accordance with local regulations
for electronic waste.
• Do not dispose of the battery or thermometer in a fire.

should be avoided because it could result in improper operation.
If such use is necessary, this equipment and the other equipment
should be observed to verify that they are operating normally.
EM disturbances can affect the measurement accuracy of the
thermometer.
WarnIng:
Portable RF communications equipment (including peripherals such
as antenna cables and external antennas) should be used no closer
than 30 cm (12 inches) to any part of the GT-3020, including cables
specified by the manufacturer. Otherwise, degradation of the perfor-
mance of this equipment could result.
