3.4 The red wire (#4) connects the red solenoid terminal to the
battery's positive post (+) (Fig. 3-4).
3.5 The black wire (#6) connects the black solenoid terminal to
the battery's negative post (-) (Fig. 3-3).
3.6 Slide the boots forward to cover the solenoid terminals.

CONTROL SET-UP

1. Wire the lead to the solenoid by connecting the black wire
(Fig. 4-4) to the right small solenoid connector.
2. Connect the blue wire (Fig. 4-2) to the black (Fig. 4-1) solenoid
connector and the center small solenoid. Slide the wire boot
aside to make the connection.
3. Attach the green (Fig. 4-3) wire to the left-most small solenoid
connector.
4. The switch connector
ends (Fig. 4-7) are
inserted to the solenoid
connector ends (Fig 4-
8). Match both green
wires (Fig. 4-3 and 4-5)
and both black wires
(Fig. 4-4 and 4-6) when
making the connection.
5. The red wire (Fig. 4-10) connects the switch (Fig. 4-9) to the
UTV key switch wire.
5.1 Determine what wire in the UTV switch carries power and
what wire is the 'return'.
5.2 Select the return wire and splice the red controller wire into
it. This will only allow power to the winch when the UTV is
turned on and the controller switch is toggled to the ON
position. The winch will not receive power If either is not in
the ON position.
