d) Inserting Batteries / Rechargeable Batteries into the Transmitter
Open the battery compartment on the transmitter and insert it there either between the batteries or fully charged
rechargeable batteries. Observe correct polarity (plus/+ and minus/-), see label on the battery compartment. Close the
battery compartment.
e) Turning the Transmitter On
First pull out the telescopic aerial all the way; do not apply any force, and do not bend the telescopic aerial. Then
switch on the transmitter.
Adhere to the operating instructions for the provided transmitter.
f) Inserting the Driving Battery into the Vehicle
Attention!
The driving battery must not be connected to the speed controller yet. First switch on the transmitter, see
chapter 8. c), d) and e).
Important!
The combination of car chassis and brushless drive is only intended for use with 2-cell LiPo rechargeable
batteries (7.4V) or NiMH racing packs with 6 cells (7.2V) (also see chapter "Technical Data").
When using driving batteries with more cells, the drive (gear, differential, axles, tyres) is overloaded; the
guarantee/warranty is then void!
Also, if the model car can no longer be controlled because the power is too high, the model car will
accelerate so strongly, from being stationary, that it will overturn.
Pull off the safety clips on the retainer of the battery pack and then lift the retainer upwards from the vehicle.
Insert the driving battery into the chassis; the connection cable should point towards the rear axis to not hinder the
steering mechanics.
Reinsert the retainer in the right orientation and reattach it with the previously removed safety clips.
