Carpal tunnel syndrome.
PERFORMANCE
The device shall provide pain relief.
CONTRAINDICATION
None known.
WARNINGS • PRECAUTIONS OF USE
The brace should not be used in cases
where the injury requires relative or
absolute immobilization or surgical
procedure.
When adjusting the strap, tighten it so that
it is firm but comfortable.
Do not wear for extended periods without
medical follow-up.
The orthosis must not be used in direct
contact with a damaged skin.
The orthosis is a single patient use device.
Do not use for multiple patients.
If any problems occur with the use of the
orthosis, e.g. pain or appearance of local
signs, remove the orthosis and contact
your healthcare professional.
The user and/or patient must report any
serious incident that has occurred in
relation to the device to the manufacturer
and the competent authority of the
Member State in which the user and/or
patient is established.
FEATURES OF THE DEVICE
Wrist / hand angle, straight reference
position with possible settings between
+20° and -20 °.
Removable and adaptable digital paddle.
Anti-slip padds.
Full opening at the carpal tunnel (no
pressure zone).
MEASUREMENT AND SIZE CHART
Size of the orthosis to choose according to the circumference of the wrist, below the
styloid (in cm).
If between two sizes, choose the upper size.

SET UP AND OPERATION
The first application must be carried out
by a qualified healthcare professional to
understand the correct fitting and how to
put the device on properly. Subsequently,
the product should be put on the patient
in the same way by the user or a family
member or a friend.
1- Completely open the strap under the
forearm.
2- Loosen the two other straps above it.
3- Put the fingers (not the thumb) into
underside of brace like you would put on
a glove (a).
4- Make sure the web space between
thumb and index finger rests against the
lower edge of the brace (b).
5- The straps only need light tension on
them for the brace to be effective.
6- Adjust the wrist joint angle as advised
by the doctor. If needed, this angle can
be changed to make the brace more
comfortable.
NOTE: The metal finger extension bar
can be bent. This bar can also be remo-
ved (unscrewed); follow the healthcare
professional's advice (c).
CARE INSTRUCTION, MAINTENANCE AND
DISPOSAL
Keep the orthosis away from sources of
excessive heat.
Hand wash in warm soapy water (maximum
40°C), rinse thoroughly. Wring out gently;
do not bleach; dry flat, away from a source
of excessive heat (ex: radiators), do not
tumble dry; do not iron; do not dry clean.
The device and packaging must be disposed
of in accordance with respective local or
national environmental regulations.
