4 .3 .1 Shearing drive

Does not require lubrication.

4 .3 .2 Flexible shaft

Before each operation
Oil the flexible shaft before each use, but at least once when changing the blade.
After 100 hours of operation
The flexible shaft is equipped with sealed and permanently lubricated ball bearings. However, the rotating inner shaft must be re-greased at
regular intervals (after approx. 100 operating hours or every 2 years). To do this, disassemble the outer shaft to first remove the old grease
residues from the inner shaft. Then grease the entire length of the inner shaft again with fresh, high-quality mineral grease.

4 .4 Storing the machine

Make it a habit to always keep the shearing equipment well cleaned between uses, in a dry and clean place, out of the reach of children.

5 Faults and repairs

5 .1 Introduction

Measures to rectify faults are marked in the "Remedy" column of the fault list. In the event of a malfunction not covered in this manual,
contact an authorised service centre.

5 .2 Fault list

Fault
Motor not running.
Motor always switches off.
Shearing equipment makes noise or
vibrates.
Motor gets warm.
Shearing drive cannot be switched off.
Cause
No power.
Cable faulty.
Switch faulty.
Motor faulty.
Capacitors faulty.
Blades blocked.
Mechanical damage in the shearing handle
or in the outer shaft.
Power supply too weak.
Motor bearing faulty.
Motor bearing faulty.
Malfunctions on the outer shaft and/or
shearing handle.
Switch faulty.

Remedy
Check the cable and fuse.
Have the cable replaced.
Have the switch replaced.
Have the motor replaced.
Have the capacitors replaced.
Remove the blockage.
For troubleshooting, first uncouple the
shearing handle and restart the system. If
the fault still occurs, uncouple the outer
shaft from the shearing drive. Repair the
damage.
If the fault still exists, have the shearing
drive repaired.
Check the power supply.
Have the motor replaced.
Have the motor replaced.
Have the fault corrected.
Have the switch replaced.
