previously used for the configuration selected . The name must
consist of six characters; the following characters can be used:

6.4 Ground switch
In the amplifier, the signal ground is usually connected to the ground
conductor of the power supply to prevent interference that will re-
sult in humming noise, for example . However, ground loops and
humming noise may occur when multiple audio units are used and
when these units are connected with each other both via the signal
ground and via the ground connector of the power supply or via a
conductive connection of their housings in the rack . To separate the
ground loop, it is recommended to separate the signal ground of a
unit from the housing ground . For this purpose, the amplifier provides
the GROUND switch (10):
