OPERATION
BEFORE EACH USE
WARNING! Switch the power OFF and unplug the drill press before changing
the drill bit or adjusting the drill. The drill can cause a serious injury if it
accidental starts and the drill bit contacts the user or a bystander.
Table Height Adjustment
Raise or lower the work table by loosening the table lock handle (#20) and
turning the table bracket handle (#19) (Fig. 8).
Table Angle Adjustment
Loosen the table lock handle (#20) then rotate the table to the desired position
and retighten the lock handle (Fig. 9).
Feed Depth Adjustment
There are two methods to set the drill bit's depth.
1. Lower the spindle assembly to the desired depth and spin the first nut
down into position. Spin the second nut behind the first until snug. This
will prevent the nuts from moving due to vibration.
2. Loosen the clamp bolt and lower the spindle assembly to the desired
depth, then retighten the bolt (Fig. 10)
Drill Speed Adjustment
Turn the hand wheel (#78) to adjust the rotational speed of an installed drill bit (Fig. 11).
