A protective coating is applied to the machined surfaces. Remove the coating
with a soft cloth moistened with a degreasing agent.

ASSEMBLY & INSTALLATION
Numbered references in parenthesis (#1) refer to the included Parts List.
1.
Assemble the column (Fig. 1).
a.
Place the column assembly (#5) onto the base (#1) and align the
column support holes with the holes in the base. Secure the column
with the four bolts provided (#3).
2.
Install the table bracket.
a.
Remove the column's collar (#2) and the rack (#4).
b.
Install the work table bracket together with the rack (Fig. 2).
c.
Reinstall the collar and secure it firmly (Fig. 3).
3.
Install the table bracket handle and table lock handle.
a.
Attach the bracket handle (#19) and secure with a set screw (#18) (Fig. 4).
b.
Install the table lock handle (#20) and pin (#21) to secure the table
bracket (Fig. 5).
4.
Attach the head assembly.
a.
Carefully position the head assembly over the column. Slide it into
place. Align the head assembly with the drill's work table and base.
b.
Secure the head assembly to the column with a set screw (#30).
Tighten with an Allen wrench (Fig. 6).
5.
Attach the arbor and chuck.
a.
Install chuck to the arbor tightly (Fig. 7).
b.
Hold a piece of scrap wood against the Chuck nose to protect it and
firmly tap the wood with a rubber mallet to ensure proper seating and
a solid fit of the Chuck on the Spindle.
