6.13
Fire protection outside the radiation area
From the outer surfaces of the open fireplace cladding, a distance of at least 5 cm must be maintained to components
made of combustible building materials or flammable components and to built-in furniture. The gap must be sufficiently
open to the air flow to prevent heat from accumulating. Components, which only cover small areas of the open fireplace
cladding (such as floors, butt-jointed wall cladding and insulation layers on ceilings and walls), may be installed without
any clearance.
6.14
Electrical wiring
There must be no electrical wiring in walls and ceilings in the area where the open fireplace is installed.
6.15
Fireplace inserts approved for balanced flue operation
Flue pipe connection:
The flue pipe connection must be permanently sealed;
The flue pipes used must be tested according to DIN EN 1856-2.
Combustion air connection:
The combustion air connection must be sufficiently sealed;
Aluflex pipes must not be deformed.
7 Information on Maintenance / Repair
7.1
Removing the door on appliances with a flat sliding door 2.0
(65x to 75x / 80x64 / 97x45/74 / 120 x 45)
Note:
For tunnel units, the rear door is also removed as described in the following instructions
(with the exception of "Disable the door lift mechanism").

Disable the door lift mechanism
Unlock the door
(3).

Open the door.
