3. SAFETY ADVICE
Read this manual carefully – Familiarise yourself
with the appliance. Follow all operational notes
and restrictions, and take note of possible hazards
of this device..
Place the appliance on stable surfaces only.
The load must not exceed the power marked on
the rating label of the generator. Overloading
may result in damage to, or a shorter life of the
appliance.
The motor must not be operated with excessive

rotary speed. The operation of the motor with
excessive rotary speed raises the risk of injury.
Parts which affect the rotary speed must not be
altered or replaced.
Prior to adjustment of the generator or the motor,
the ignition plug and the ignition wire respectively
must be removed to prevent accidental starting.
Appliances with incorrect or missing parts or
without a security case are not to be operated.
The service centre provides you with information
concerning replacement parts.
Do not operate or store the appliance in wet or
humid surroundings or on highly conductive
surfaces such as metal coatings or steel
constructions.
If operating under conditions such as those
mentioned above, it is vital to wear rubber
gloves and boots and also to use a ground
circuit breaker.
Keep the generator free of oil, dirt and other
impurities.
Ensure that extension cords, power cords and all
electric components are in proper condition. Never
operate electric tools with damaged or defective
cords.
Store the generator in well ventilated surroundings
and with the fuel tank empty. Do not store fuel
next to the generator.
Under the following conditions the generator must
not be operated:
 When the motor rotary speed changes
 When the electrical power is decreasing
When connected appliances are overheated
 When sparks occur
 When plugs are damaged
 In case of misfire
 In case of high vibration
 When flames or smoke appear
In enclosed premises
 In rain or stormy weatherr
