• Check and clean the tool.
VI. MAINTENANCE AND STORAGE
Reminder: In order to maintain the machine in good working condition, carry out regular
maintenance of the machine after each use and before storage. Any breach or inadequate
maintenance reduces the life of the machine and increases the risk of breakdowns and accidents.
6.1- Cleaning
• Perform below cleaning process to the tool with a soft brush or a dry clean cloth.
• Do not use water or detergent for cleaning. Never immerse the machine in water or any
liquids.
• Clean the exterior plastic components.
• Remove the chain sprocket cover and clean the area around the chain sprocket.
• Clean the guide bar and saw chain.
• Remove any wood chips or debris from the battery compartment.
• Lubricate the chain after cleaning.
6.2- Maintenance
Chain sprocket
• Remove the sprocket cover, guide bar and chain.
• Check the wear marks on the sprocket.
• If wear marks are deeper than a = 0,5 mm, do not
use the tool and contact your dealer for
maintenance. See Fig. 10.
Guide bar
• Remove the sprocket cover, guide bar and chain.
• Measure the depth of bar groove with a ruler.
• Replace the guide bar if the measured depth is less than 4 mm.
• Replace the guide bar if the groove is narrowed, spread or shows other signsof substantial
wear or demage.

Before any intervention on product, ensure that power is set to the "OFF" position
and remove the battery.
