Battery charger
• Do not abuse the power cord. Never use the cord for carrying, pulling or unplugging the
power tool. Keep cord away from heat, oil, sharp edges or moving parts.
• Use the power adaptor indoor only.
• Do not place any object on top of charger or on a surface that might block the ventilation
slots and result in excessive internal heat. Place the charger in position away from any heat
source.
• Do not disassemble charger. Take it to authorized service center when service or repair is
required. Incorrect reassemble may result in a risk of electric shock or fire.
• Perform charging in ambient environment (+4 °C to +40 °C)
Battery pack
• Charge the battery pack with the provided charger only.
• Do not incinerate the battery even if it is severely damaged or is completely worn out. The
battery can explode in fire.
• Leakage of liquid from the battery cells may occur under extreme usage or temperature
conditions.
• Do not connect the positive and negative terminals with metal objects. Battery could be
short-circuited and resulted in battery damage or fire.
3.3- Special warnings when using this product
• WARNING! Risk of cut. Keep your hands or any body parts away from the saw chain,
especially when the product installed with battery.
• Hold the pruning saw with your right hand on the trigger handle and your left hand on the
body grip.
• Hold the pruning saw by insulated gripping surfaces only, because the saw chain may
contact hidden wiring.
• Use appropriate personal protective equipment:
-
always wear safety goggles and earmuffs.
-
further protective equipment such as hard hat, safety gloves and non-skid safety shoes
are recommended.
• Cut wood only. Do not use the tools in any operations that beyond the intended purpose,
such as cutting metal, plastic, masonry or non-wood building materials.
• Do not operate a pruning chainsaw in a tree, on a ladder, rooftop, or scaffold unless properly
trained.
• Use extreme caution when cutting brush and saplings. The slender material may catch the
saw chain and be whipped toward you or pull you off balance.
• Make sure that the area in which you are cutting is free from obstructions.
• Always cut with the unit running at full speed. Fully squeeze the throttle trigger and
maintain a steady cutting speed.
• Only use replacement guide bars and saw chains specified by the manufacturer.
• Remove the battery before transportation, maintenance and storage of the tool.
• Do not start cutting until you have a clear work area, secure footing, and a planned retreat
path from the falling workpiece.
• Before you start the unit, make sure the saw chain is not contacting any object.
• Stop the pruning saw before setting it down.
• Maintain a firm grip on the recommended grasping surfaces.
• During operations where it is necessary to use one hand, such as to steady or control the
workpiece / branch, guide workpiece away from you, or provide better visibility to the work
area:
-
Keep free hand clear of the chain and out of the cutting path.
