3.1 START-UP. PREVIOUS OPERATIONS.
In principle, the connection of the system should be done as indicated in the previous chapter and before
performing a final start-up of the system, perform the following operations
1º)
Make sure the mains voltage coincides with that established in the machine
2º)
Connect supply cable to the relative electrical power outlet
3ª)
Check that the gas bottle is well protected by the bottle-holder system, and above all, check that the safety
chain is properly placed
4º)
Install the pressure reducing valve and connect gas hose checking that there are no leakages, throughout
.
the whole circuit
5º)
Fit the relative adapter onto the wire reel and fit this assembly into the wire reel support axle
6º)
Depending on the wire diameter, fit the groove of the correct driving wheel
7º)
Fit the wire into the driving system
loops may occur, and if the lever is too loose, the thread may slip. Once the wire has been
inserted, you can connect the torch, as the machine is ready to start welding.
