ENGLISH
The EIR600FC is an outdoor passive infrared motion detector with two sensors sensor (PIR) and built-in camera. When motion
is detect, it sends alarm signals and high-quality images to the system control unit.
The detector has a detection range of 12 metres when it is installed at 2.3 metres from the ground. The detector is equipped
with configurable settings which can be adjusted according to the surrounding environment to avoid false alarms and provide
optimal outdoor performance.
The tamper switch which protects the sensor from being opened is installed on the device and must also be installed even on
the bracket to ensure correct tampering detection.
Part identification
1. Sun shield
Remove the sun visor to access the battery compartment and, if necessary, open
the rear cover.
2. Camera lens
3. IR sensor lenses
The sensors are used to detect moving objects.
4. Red LED/Function button
Meaning of the LEDs:
The red LED lights up in the following conditions:
- The red LED flashes once every 20 minutes:
The detector has lost its connection with the control unit.
- The red LED lights up for 30 seconds:
The detector is being initialised and a fault was detected.
- The red LED flashes quickly twice:
The detector is connected correctly to the control unit after the learning
procedure.
- The red LED lights up for two seconds during normal operation:
The detector has detected motion and a fault was detected.
- The red LED flashes quickly:
The detector is transmitting images to the control unit and a fault was
detected.
- The red LED and illuminator flash once:
The detector was restored.
Using the function button:
- Press the button once to send a supervision signal.
- To reset the detector: hold the button pressed for 10 seconds. Release the
button when the illuminator and the red LED blink once.
5. Illuminator
The illuminator provides sufficient light to acquire images in poor lighting
.
conditions
6. Battery compartment cover
Remove the battery compartment cover to open the battery compartment.
7. Tamper switch
When the detector is installed on the bracket, the tamper switch is compressed
against the installation bracket.
8. Battery compartment
Remove the battery compartment to connect two lithium batteries AA 1.5 V.
9. Dip switch block
This contains 8 dip switches for setting operation and detection sensitivity levels
10. Bracket arm
11. Rotation bracket
Features
Image acquisition
Once the alarm system is activated, three 640x480 pixel images or six 320x240 pixel images are acquired when motion is
detected. The detector also allows the manual acquisition of images by means of a dedicated control.
