c) Replacing the Soldering Tip
1 Allow the soldering tip to cool down completely before replacing it.
2 Use the provided metal tool to loosen the soldering tip.
3 Place the opening on the metal tool on the metal pin behind the soldering tip and push the
soldering tip to the front away from the soldering iron.

Hold the soldering tip away from your body while replacing it. The soldering tip
may loosen from the soldering iron suddenly. For this reason, while replacing the
soldering tip, hold it in front of a piece of cardboard or similar material to catch it.
4 Now put a new soldering tip of equal quality onto the soldering iron.
Care and Cleaning
Always turn off and unplug the product before cleaning.
Allow the product to cool sufficiently before cleaning.
• There are no components located inside the product you need to maintain. Never open/
dismantle the product.
• Do not use any aggressive cleaning agents, rubbing alcohol or other chemical solutions as
they can cause damage to the housing and malfunctioning.
• Under normal circumstances, this device is maintenance-free.
• Clean the product exterior with a soft, dry cloth.
• Use a slightly damp cloth to clean the soldering tip. Dry the soldering tip thoroughly after
cleaning.
Disposal
Electronic devices are recyclable waste and must not be disposed of in the
household waste. At the end of its service life, dispose of the product in accordance
with applicable regulatory guidelines.
You thus fulfill your statutory obligations and contribute to the protection of the environment.
