5 Installation

Disconnect the power supply before working on the equipment

5.1 Prior Check

- Check whether the device has been received undamaged and in the required version.
- Check whether the details on the packing slip correspond to the details shown on the
product received.
If you have any problems or if you are in doubt about any aspect of this device, please contact
SIMCO (Nederland) B.V. or your regional agent.

5.2 Mounting the External Balance Control Kit

- Determine the location on the machine or control panel where the Balance Control Kit can
be installed. Ensure that the Balance Control Kit is easily accessible for operating
personnel.
- Drill the 2 holes in the panel as shown in figure 3. Remove burrs and sharp edges.
- Mount the Control Kit behind the panel with the supplied mounting material as shown in
figure 4. The Control Kit can only be wired for installation (see chapter 5.3).
- Place the supplied adhesive label on the panel.
- Turn the shaft of the potentiometer on the PCB fully counter clockwise.
- Install the supplied control knob and the lid on the shaft so that the indicator arrow of the
control knob points to -10.
