2 Description and function

The residual charge on the product to be neutralized can be greatly reduced by balancing the
ion balance with the aid of the Balance Control Kit. The Balance Control Kit is connected to the
MPM with the supplied 12-pin cable.
Chapter 6 describes how the MPM can be adjusted correctly to the neutralising equipment with
the Balance Control Kit. It is recommended to use a measuring instrument, like the FMX-003, to
measure the residual charge on the material to be neutralized.
It is possible to directly connect the following in-/out-signals to the MPM onto the machine
connector of the Balance Control Kit:
-
Remote de-/activation of the high voltage.
-
"High voltage on" indication.
-
"Overload of the high voltage" indication.
Chapter 5 describes how the Balance Control Kit is properly connected.

3 Safety

The following safety instructions should be followed in order to prevent injuries and damage to
objects or the External Balance Control Kit itself.
