Fault
Display indicator: A02
- Maximum run time exceeded
The control unit has not swit-
ched off for 20 minutes (sen-
sor faulty/incorrectly set)
Display indicator: A03
– Brushes blocked repeatedly
The unit reverses its direction
of rotation several times in
succession and then remains
stationary.
Display indicator: A05
– Overheating of the circuit
board in the control unit (>
60 °C)
Display indicator: A06
– Low temperatures of the cir-
cuit board in the control unit
(< -30 °C)
Display indicator: A08
– Motor temperature switch
tripped
Display indicator: - - -
Control unit ready for ope-
ration
Unit does not start the brus-
hing cycle.
The brush does not reverse its
direction of rotation when it is
placed under load.
Cause
The motor turns continuously
for 20 minutes (with brief pauses bet-
ween the work cycles).
The display then shows
alarm "A02".
Main board in control unit defective.
Motor cable broken.
The motor has been stopped mechani-
cally or blocked by a foreign body.
Main board in control unit faulty.
Gears faulty or contain braking mecha-
nical parts. (e.g. gear wheel breakage
due to a lack of oil)
Capacitor faulty.
Motor cable broken.
Control unit exposed to direct sunlight.
Motor cable broken.
Capacitor faulty.
Low temperature on the circuit board
in the control unit.
The motor temperature switch has trip-
ped. (not present on all types!)
Sensor board defective.
Motor cable broken.
Motor faulty.
The brush resistance setting is not
correct.
Main board defective.
Corrective measure
• Check the setting of the inductive sensor. The LED on the back of
the sensor must light up in the rest position. If necessary, adjust
the sensor or switch flag and restart the machine.
• Replace the main board.
• All wires of the motor cable have continuity?
• External insulation intact?
• Replace motor cable if damaged.
• Remove the foreign body.
• Replace the main board.
• Contact the manufacturer.
• Replace the motor and gears.
• Have the capacitor checked by a qualified electrician and re-
placed if necessary.
• All wires of the motor cable have continuity?
• External insulation intact?
• Replace motor cable if damaged.
• Protect the control unit from sunlight.
• All wires of the motor cable have continuity?
• External insulation intact?
• Replace motor cable if damaged.
• Have the capacitor checked by a qualified electrician and re-
placed if necessary.
• Take the unit out of operation and switch it on again when the
outside temperature rises again.
• Disconnect the unit from the mains, let it cool down and restart
it.
• Check that the bridge or plug on the main board is seated pro-
perly. (Fig. 8)
• Check the inductive sensor (Fig. 10).
• Does the LED on the back of the sensor light up in the rest
position?
• If the LED on the back of the sensor goes out when the brush
carriage is raised:
• Check the motor cable and replace if necessary
• Check the motor
• All wires of the motor cable have continuity?
• External insulation intact?
• Replace motor cable if damaged.
• Have the motor checked by a qualified electrician
• Adjust the cut-off resistance, see Section 6.
• If the unit does not switch off with an appropriate load with any
of the settings, the main board is defective.
• Replace the main board.
