Connect the charger to the supply battery (Battery II), the generator and the
starter battery (Battery I) in accordance with the connection diagram (Figure
7).
Connect the red B+ 0.75 mm² measuring cable to the charger's B+ input and
the positive terminal of the supply battery. If the cable is more than 1 m in
length, it must be protected with a 2 A fuse.
Connect the black 6 mm² negative charging current cable for the supply battery
to the negative output for Battery II at the charger and to the negative terminal
of Battery II.
Connect the red 6 mm² positive charging current cable for the supply battery to
the positive output for Battery II at the charger and to the positive terminal of
Battery II. If the cable is more than 1 m in length, it must be protected with a
30 A fuse.
Connect the brown D+ 0.75 mm² lead to the charger's D+ input and to the
generator's D+ terminal. This cable must be protected with a 2 A fuse.
Connect the black 6 mm² negative charging current cable for the starter battery
to the negative output for Battery I at the charger and to the negative terminal
of Battery I.
Connect the red 6 mm² positive charging current cable for the starter battery to
the positive output for Battery I at the charger and to the positive terminal of
Battery I. It is essential that this cable is protected with a 30 A fuse. Use the
Maxi-Fuse and the fuse holder supplied for this purpose.
If you have a display panel offering a remote display facility, connect this to
the remote display connector.
Check that all the connections are firm and secure.
Connect the mains as the final step.
