Setting up

Protection against electric shock

Attention!
Safeguard the electric connection of the devices with a 30 mA-rated leakage
current circuit breaker, and only operate it with this protection. Observe the
power supply companies regulations.
Use

Only use accessories and supplementary devices supplied or recommended by
the manufacturer. Using other accessories is hazardous.

Purpose

The LG 612-DS/IU charger is constructed exclusively for the purpose of charg-
ing 12 Volt lead accumulators consisting of 6 individual cells (such as car
batteries) with a capacity of between 60 and 120 Ah (ampere-hours). It can be
used anywhere, and has been designed for continuous operation. These charg-
ers are particularly suitable for use with gel batteries.
The charger is particularly suitable for the use in boats, caravans and mobile
homes. The charger must only be operated in dry spaces.
