5 September 2007 regarding medical devices, which became
effective on 21 March 2010 and bears the mark CE 0123 (TÜV
SÜD Product Service GmbH).Units with CE marks are subject to
quality inspections in accordance with this Directive and provide a
higher level of accuracy than previous calibration.

Electromagnetic compatibility (EMC)

Technical description
The unit satisfies the EMC requirements of the international standard IEC60601-1-
2. The requirements are satisfied under the conditions described in the tables be-
low. The unit is an electrical medical product and is subject to special precautionary
measures with regard to EMC which must be published in the instructions for use.
Portable and mobile HF communications equipment can affect the unit. Use of the
unit in conjunction with non-approved accessories can affect the unit negatively
and alter the electromagnetic compatibility.The unit should not be used directly
adjacent to or between other electrical equipment.
