Make sure that the level sensor
is placed correctly after cleaning
the water reservoir, otherwise the
machine will not detect whether
the reservoir has water or not.

MAKING CAPPUCCINO
(TRONIC AND TRONIC DUO
MODELS)
1. Press the steam button
1a. On TRONIC models, the
machine begins the heating
process to reach the necessary
temperature. The steam button
blinks while the rest of the

buttons remain unlit. After
approximately 10 seconds,
the steam button
permanently lit and steam begins
to come out of the nozzle
1b. On TRONIC DUO models,
the heating process is not
necessary; therefore, on
pressing the steam button,
steam begins to come out of
the hot water/steam nozzle
automatically

remains lit while the rest of the
buttons are unlit.
2. Insert the hot water/steam nozzle
in the milk to be heated so

that exactly half of the absorption
hole is covered (never cover it
completely). Follow this criterion
throughout the whole process.

NOTE:
It is normal for a few drops of water
to come out of the nozzle before
the steam does. Wait for the steam
to begin before inserting the nozzle
in the milk.
3. You will see how the liquid is
absorbed into the hole and how
the milk begins to froth. You will
have to slowly lower the recipient
as the milk emulsifies.
For a frothier cappuccino, use
fresh cold milk.
For hot milk—without emulsion—
the hole should be covered entirely.
For a slight froth, keep the
absorption hole in the same
position throughout.
4. To stop the steam, press the
steam button again

60 seconds.
