10. Handling

Please note all safety instructions and notes on the operation and the initial operation in these
operating instructions.
• The product is not suitable for children under 14 years of age.
• The product must not get damp or wet. Never touch the plug-in charger when your hands are wet or damp.
When the product is brought from a cold into a warm room (e.g. during transport), condensation water may form.
Allow the device to reach room temperature before connecting it to the power supply. This process may take several
hours.
• Even if the vehicle is quite small at the first glance, there is risk of injuries in the case of crashes with people (or
animals), because of the high acceleration capacity and the high achievable speed. Sharp edges and rotating parts
also present a high danger. This is why you should drive very responsibly and carefully; this is especially the case for
inexperienced drivers.
When driving indoors there is the risk of damaging furniture or other fixtures. Therefore, only operate the vehicle out
of doors on a suitable large terrain.
• Never drive towards people or animals, don't chase animals with the vehicle. The driving noises or the movements
of the vehicle could make animals aggressive or scared.
• When you take the vehicle in your hand (eg to turn it on/off or to set the trim) make sure not to touch the wheels or
the drive. Risk of injury!
• The following unfavourable conditions are to be avoided during operation or transport:
- Excessive humidity or dampness
- extreme cold or heat
- direct sunlight
- Dust or combustible gases, vapours or solvents
- Strong vibrations
- strong magnetic fields such as those found in the vicinity of machinery or loudspeakers
• Make sure that no cables are pinched or caught.
• Check the product for damage before each use! If you notice any damages, the product must not be used anymore
and has to be taken out of operation. Bring the product to a specialised workshop.
Safe operation must be presumed to be no longer possible, if
- the product exhibits visible damage,
- the product does not operate any longer and
- the unit was stored under unfavourable conditions for a long period of time or
- if it has been subjected to considerable stress in transit.
• Always separate the rechargeable battery pack from the cruise control/receiver when you the vehicle isn't used.
Take the batteries (or rechargeable batteries) out of the remote control.
