switching extractor hood off
When used in combination with a hob with synchro-start, if
the lighting is switched off the extractor hood will only switch
off when you switch off the hob.
The extractor hood can be switched off in two ways.
stand-by symbol

Hold your hand a few centimetres in front of the fan
symbol until the all the indicator lights have gone out.
Then hold your hand a few centimetres in front of the
lighting symbol until both indicator lights have gone out.
You will hear a single beep.
The standby symbol lights up and then goes out again
after ten seconds if the radar no longer detects
movement.

Hold one hand in front of the fan symbol and at the same
time hold your other hand in front of the lighting symbol.
The fan and lighting both switch off.
The standby symbol lights up and then goes out again
after ten seconds if the radar no longer detects
movement.
automatic continued running
Hold your hand a few centimetres in front of the continued-
running symbol until it lights up.
You will hear a single beep. The extractor hood switches off
automatically after ten minutes; if the fan was on setting 2, 3
continued running
or 4, this will happen gradually.
button
If the lighting was switched on during the continued running,
it will remain switched on.

locking function
The extractor hood is fitted with a locking function. If this
function is switched on, the settings chosen are fixed. You
cannot then accidentally select another setting. The locking
function can also be used as a childproof lock.

Choose the setting you want (see also pages 6 and 7 of the
instructions for use).

The locking function does not work with automatic continued
running.
