7.6.4. Exposure compensation (OEV)
By correcting the exposure value (EV) you can take pictures
which would otherwise be too dark or too light.
There are 12 settings to choose from between +2.0 EV and
2.0 EV. A bar for adjusting the exposure appears on the display.
Use a positive value when light conditions are poor and a nega-
tive value in strong light.
Do not use the exposure correction when the subject is in a very
bright or very dark area or if you are using the flash. In that case,
use the automatic setting.
